From blueprint to finished wall

Even as a child I was fascinated by how houses grow out of nothing — how brick, concrete and human work come together to form a home. That interest led me to the Faculty of Civil Engineering at BME, where I learned how a building is designed: structural analysis, reading blueprints, thinking in systems.

During my university years I realised that it is not the desk that draws me, but the building site. The practical, tangible work where at the end of the day you can see what you have created. So alongside my engineering studies I earned a certified mason's qualification — and I have carried these two skills together into every job since.

Today Zso-Da Bau takes on construction work in Budapest and Pest County with its own crew: from foundations through masonry and insulation to paving. Thanks to the engineering background I understand WHY things must be done a certain way — and thanks to the mason's practice I know HOW.

I have one principle I never compromise on: I carry out every job as if I were building my own home. I expect the same from my crew — and according to our clients' feedback, it shows in the results.
