Concreting works

Concrete is the one structure you cannot fix afterwards: once it sets, it stays that way. That is why for us concreting starts at setting-out and formwork — the secret of a perfectly smooth slab is precise preparation, proper reinforcement and the right concrete grade.

We take on everything from foundations to finished screeds: family house foundations, garage slabs, terraces, walkways or fence footings. If needed, we organise the mixer and the pump too.

Frequently asked questions

What concrete grade do you use?

The grade specified by the structural design — typically ready-mix between C16/20 and C30/37. Without a design we match it to the use and put it in writing in the quote.

Do you take on small concreting jobs?

Yes: walkways, fence footings or a small shed slab all fit our schedule. For small volumes we mix on site, so there is no unnecessary mixer cost.

How long does concrete need to cure?

Concrete reaches design strength in 28 days, but typically takes foot traffic after 2–3 days and masonry loads after about a week. We always take care of curing (watering, covering).

Can you pour concrete in autumn and winter?

Below +5 °C only with winter technology — admixtures and covering. If quality would be at risk, we reschedule: durability matters more than the date.
